Q: May I drive home after my procedure?
A: If you have had any form of sedation you MUST have a driver and you are advised not to drive for 24 hours after your procedure. You MAY NOT take an Uber/Lyft home unless you are accompanied by a responsible adult.
Q: May I take my morning medication?
A: We do request that you take certain medications with a very small sip of water. Medication instructions are outlined in the text message/email you will receive.
Q: Do I need a referral?
A: If your insurance requires you to have referral then we advise you to obtain one to bring with you on the day of your procedure.
Q: Why do I owe the center a co-pay?
A: Co-pays are determined by each individual insurance carrier. The center is not permitted to waive them and we must show that we have collected them.
Q: Can any physician perform surgery at ASI?
A: Only physicians that have been granted privileges to be on our Medical Staff may bring patients to the center.
